Who is Man?
Man [mæn] is an avid circuit designer, from lower power digital to analog to radio frequency. Currently, he is an research and development engineer for optical transceivers for datacenters.
He enjoys teaching students concepts on circuit design, from college level lower division to upper division. Topics range from basic circuit theory in step response of RLC circuits, to using transistors to build an operational amplifier, delving into the building blocks to tradeoff in supply voltage, power, gain, output and input impedance, as well as the techniques for internal stability and external feedback for finite gain. He also enjoys teaching students using larger building blocks in wireless communications and data conversion.
He is also an advocate for inclusion and diversity in engineering, focusing on LGBTQ+ college students.
Man is a father of a Siberian Husky, Gregor, and a German Shepherd mix, Kody.
